JobGuard Pro Terms of Use

In short: JobGuard Pro is a tool to help you record, price and get sign-off on work. You're responsible for your jobs, prices and agreements with your clients. You can try it free, and cancel any time.
1. Who we are
JobGuard Pro ("JobGuard", "the app") is made by Techiecup Solutions Inc., a company in Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use JobGuard.
2. Who can use JobGuard
JobGuard is for contractors, trades and other businesses. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you use JobGuard for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
3. Your account
- Keep your login details private. You're responsible for anything done with your account.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Tell us right away at info@jobguardpro.ca if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Free trial and price
- New accounts get a free trial with all features. No credit card is needed to start.
- After the trial, JobGuard costs CA$19 per month, unless we've told you about a different offer (for example, our founding member offer of 6 months free).
- Subscriptions are paid through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using your store account. Their payment, renewal and refund rules apply.
- Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We may change the price in future. We'll tell you before a new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.
5. Your content
Your jobs, change orders, photos, signatures and client details ("your content") belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and show your content only so we can run JobGuard for you. You can export or delete it any time. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for your content. That includes having permission to store your clients' details and photos, and following the laws that apply to you, such as privacy, consumer protection and tax rules.
6. Change orders and signatures
JobGuard helps you write down extra work and have your client sign it. We don't check prices, scopes of work or signatures, and we're not a party to any agreement between you and your client. Whether a signed change order is binding depends on the law where you work and on your agreement with your client. JobGuard isn't legal, tax or accounting advice. If you're unsure, ask a professional.
7. Fair use
Don't use JobGuard to:
- break any law, or mislead or defraud anyone;
- upload content you don't have the right to use;
- send spam or harmful code, or try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours;
- copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
8. Our app
JobGuard, its design, logo and software belong to Techiecup Solutions Inc. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app while your account is active and you follow these terms.
9. Changes and availability
We work to keep JobGuard running and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever shut JobGuard down, we'll give you notice and a way to export your content.
10. Disclaimer
JobGuard is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't give any promises beyond those in these terms.
11. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost jobs or unpaid invoices. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for JobGuard in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using JobGuard and delete your account at any time. Remember to cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play too. We may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they apply. Using JobGuard after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
